Time Interval for exam: Every 4 monthly council exams are organised.

Requirements: MBBS passed out from a NMC recognized medical college.

Experience required: At least 6 months rotatory internship in NMC recognized centre

In order to maintain the standard quality of doctors working in Nepal, All doctors after graduating from M.B.B.S. and graduated MD / MS qualifications, must appear in the Nepal Medical Council Licensing Examination and the Nepal Medical Council Licensed Special Examination in accordance with the NMC law and regulations.
Only After Successful Completion of the License Examination of the Medical Council of Nepal, NMCLE, a Person Can Practice as a Doctor (Medical Doctor) in Nepal under the action of NMC. where in order to work as a professional physician he must perform a Special License Examination of the Medical Council of Nepal.
